This is a lunker tarpon caught on Fly. We no longer bring these fish on the boat for photos. That's because it's really not that good for the fish. The State of Florida now requires the angler or guide to have a State Tarpon Kill Tag which has to be displayed in the fish's mouth if they are taken out of the water. One only needs to purchase the tag if they intend to kill a fish or remove it from the water for the purpose of weighing or photographing. |
